Meet Dr. Tashjian
After graduating from Michigan State University, Dr. Tashjian attended medical school at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, which included both extensive training in electromyography and electrodiagnosis and also the study of spine and extremity anatomy.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Tashjian has served as Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Unit at Crittenton Hospital and the Medical Director of Kenny Michigan Rehabilitation Foundation. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has a number of professional affiliations, including the American Medical Association, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and both the Michigan and American Academies of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has published and lectured nationally on subjects such as sensory nerve latencies, spinal cord injuries, and detachable cast pylon techniques.
Dr. Tashjian has been in practice over 30 years and is board certified in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
